What an amazing and interesting puzzle from our shop. The 54 "T" shaped pieces will make a cube 20,000 different ways, yet it is no easy task to find ANY of them, but it is great fun trying! You can get close, but getting those last 2 or 3 pieces to fit it is really a challenge. Five of the possible solutions are included if you need one.
The manufacturer found the design for these Monster Puzzles from a mathematician's website and thought they would make fantastic puzzles. There is an attractive and substantial wood cover that fits neatly over the top of each puzzle. Fully assembled they are each about a 5.75" cube and weigh about 3.5 pounds! The final product picture shows the Monster T 54 next to a medium size Some Cube to illustrate how huge this puzzle is.

3 Sun boxes are our most popular size, offering a substantial box at a reasonable price. These are all from the studio of Hiroyuki Oka, are of excellent quality finish and movement and come in an attractive box. They have the craftsman's (Mr Oka) Hanko stamped on the inside of the lid. Highly recommended.
About Puzzle Boxes:
Not just puzzles, these trick boxes are works of art created by a small group of master craftsmen in the Hakone-Odawara region of Japan. Once you start to study them beyond their striking beauty, you see that there is no apparent lid and seemingly no way to open them. However, careful investigation reveals that its surface has several movable pieces. The fits are incredibly precise, but you can slide them in various sequences. Unless an exact series of move...
